Unable to login to STL Tones Account

Your login is the same as you use to login to the STL Tones website to make a purchase. If you are unable to login, please reset your password. If you are still unable, please contact support.


Access from this device has been disabled

If you are receiving an error message that says "Access from this device has been disabled", and you think it is a mistake, please contact our Support Team via the Contact Page.


Unable to connect to License Server

If you are receiving an activation error, please make sure that you have a stable internet connection and that you do not have any firewalls or proxies blocking your system from connecting to our server.

For offline systems, you can hotspot to a cellular device momentarily in order to connect to the server and activate the license.


Error decrypting license file

Log out of the plugin and head to the following location on your system:

Windows: C:\Users\Public\Documents\STL\

Mac: /Users/Shared/STL/

There, delete the folder for your plugin. Then, log back into the plugin and try activating your license once more.


Activation Code associated with a different product or user ID

1. Double check that you have logged in with the correct email for your account. If you have multiple accounts, or have updated your email address on the website, please reach out to our support team for assistance. 

2. Make sure you have downloaded the correct installer from our Downloads Center. If you are activating an expansion pack, click on the lock icon next to the pack and make sure that you're entering the specific activation code for the individual pack.
